For the past 2 years the Merlot has stood out in the VERITAS as well as the Classic Wine Trophy competitions and thus has achieved the top red status on La Petite's portfolio. It's typical Christmas pudding flavours that reminds of cherries, warm nutmeg and cinnamon character, similar to Chi infused chocolate but also carries dark berry flavours. Matured in second fill American oak barrels leads to a sweeter spicy vanilla finish. Truly a superb wine that carries on being the benchmark of La Petite Ferme.
